About the position

Parcel Shield, LLC. is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Orlando, Florida. This position is hybrid, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work. The primary responsibility of the QA Automation Engineer will be to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure the quality of our software products. The role involves debugging software, defining corrective actions, and establishing QA metrics to track the effectiveness of testing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing methodologies, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will work closely with the development team to understand the software requirements and design test cases that effectively validate functionality. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated test scripts, as well as executing these tests to identify defects early in the development cycle. Your expertise in both white box and black box testing will be crucial in ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Additionally, you will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and tools, leveraging your experience in Agile and Scrum development methodologies. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, or a related field. A foreign equivalent degree is acceptable. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in software QA and development, with proficiency in SQL and scripting languages. Telecommuting is permitted, providing flexibility in your work environment.
