About the position

The QA Automation Engineer will play a crucial role in guiding the project towards full test automation, including unit, functional, regression, and performance testing. This position involves designing a test automation framework, developing and executing automated tests to ensure product quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall testing process.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and create test plans.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure product quality.
• Report and track bugs, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Continuously improve the automation framework and test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure best practices are followed.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in test automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and Groovy.
• Proficiency with tools such as Apache Jmeter, Selenium, SoapUI, Jenkins, GitHub, JIRA.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
