About the position

The QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. This role requires strong technical skills in JavaScript and experience with automation tools like Selenium, as well as a solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML and CSS. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of the banking domain, which will aid in understanding the specific requirements and challenges of the industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript and Selenium.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and requirements.
• Participate in the design and implementation of testing strategies and frameworks.
• Report and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript programming language.
• Experience with Selenium for automated testing.
