About the position

The QA Automation Test Engineer role is focused on ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through rigorous testing processes. This position involves developing and executing test strategies, validating test data, and documenting results to ensure that software meets specified requirements. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with Agile stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Experience with test data submission requests, preparing and smoke testing data
• Experience validating test data using Postman/Soap UI
• Experience with identifying test cases from requirements
• Experience with Test Strategy and planning, defining test scenarios and test cases, developing, and maintaining test scripts, analyzing bugs
• Experience in executing the test cases and raising defects using the Defect Tracking Tool JIRA, documenting in Confluence & Q test/Quality Center
• Experience validating transformation & data loading functionality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Strong testing skills
• Experience with test management tools such as JIRA and qTest
• Strong SQL query skills, including confidence with SELECT, UPDATE, INSERT statements, and joins
• Experience communicating with Agile stakeholders
• Proactive and self-driven attitude

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with testing/writing AWS Snowflake SQL
• Familiarity with AWS and DynamoDB
• Experience testing within an Agile framework
• Preferred experience with qTest
