About the position

The QA Automation Test Engineer role at Randstad Digital involves ensuring the quality and functionality of software through automated testing. This is a contract position that allows for remote work, focusing on validating test data and executing test cases while documenting findings and defects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and smoke test data for submission requests.
• Validate test data using Postman/Soap UI.
• Identify test cases from requirements and develop test strategies.
• Define test scenarios and maintain test scripts.
• Execute test cases and raise defects using JIRA.
• Document findings in Confluence and Q test/Quality Center.
• Validate transformation and data loading functionality.

Requirements

• Strong testing skills and experience with test data submission requests.
• Experience with Postman/Soap UI for validating test data.
• Ability to identify test cases from requirements and develop test strategies.
• Experience in executing test cases and raising defects using JIRA.
• Strong SQL query skills, including SELECT, UPDATE, and JOIN operations.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS Snowflake SQL.
• Familiarity with AWS and DynamoDB.
• Experience testing within an Agile framework.
• Preferred experience with qTest as a test management tool.
