About the position

The QA Automation Tester role is focused on ensuring the quality of software through systematic testing and automation. The position requires collaboration with software developers and project support to define project requirements and scope. The successful candidate will demonstrate their ability to provide quality work output, identify errors, and enhance usability throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Executes test cases under varying circumstances
• Documents and evaluates test results
• Writes test scripts for automated tools and testing
• Detects, logs, and reports program bugs and glitches
• Tracks defects and helps troubleshoot errors
• Reviews test procedures and develops test scripts
• Partners with engineers to drive QA efforts

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of test automation experience
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Working knowledge of test management tools (Jira, HP ALM)
• Experience with testing software tools (Postman, Selenium, SoapUI)
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail in requirements
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Strong organizational skills
