About the position

We are seeking a skilled and proactive QA Automation Tester to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will develop and execute automated tests to ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of our software applications. This role requires expertise in test automation frameworks, scripting, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to validate web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application features and testing requirements.
• Execute automated test cases, analyze test results, and identify areas for improvement.
• Integrate automated testing processes into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing.
• Debug and troubleshoot test scripts to ensure accurate and reliable test execution.
• Perform regression testing using automation tools to verify system stability after updates.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, scripts, and results.
• Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of identified defects.
• Suggest and implement best practices for test automation and overall QA processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or SOAPUI.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
