About the position

The QA Automation Tester position is focused on ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through rigorous testing processes. This role involves integration testing, access and security validation, availability checks, and browser compatibility assessments to deliver a robust data portal with a quality user experience. The position emphasizes the importance of test automation to keep pace with rapid development cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct integration testing to ensure smooth interaction between frontend, backend, APIs, and data layers.
  • Perform access and security testing to validate role-based access, authentication, and data policies.
  • Execute availability testing to monitor health, logging, and failover during component failures.
  • Carry out browser compatibility testing across various browsers and devices, including mobile.
  • Engage in extensive testing across functional, non-functional, and user perspective areas to ensure a quality user experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 5 - 8 years of experience as an analyst/tester on software projects, supporting requirement analysis, application test script development, and execution.
  • 3+ years of experience with Jenkins.
  • 5 years of experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical teams and users.
  • Ability to triage change requests and incidents during all phases of design, development, testing, and training.
  • Practical knowledge in manual and automated testing, UAT, Unit and integration testing.
  • Experience with automated testing and automated testing tools.
