About the position

The Quality Assurance Automation Tester at IntelliBridge will support the USDA Conservation Solution contract by ensuring the quality and functionality of software through both manual and automated testing. This role requires a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, particularly in a SAFe Agile environment, and involves responsibilities such as developing test plans, managing defects, and documenting test results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop test plans and test cases.
  • Conduct manual and automated testing to validate software functionality and installation, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
  • Manage defects and track errors.
  • Document test reports.
  • Independently troubleshoot software issues and coordinate testing activities.
  • Work comfortably in an Agile Development environment.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with Quality Assurance practices and Testing Methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of program interfaces, services, databases, messaging, file systems, and other program objects.
  • Experience with formal testing of complex web-based software systems.
  • Experience executing functional, usability, and deployment testing.
  • Experience documenting test cases and reporting test results using a test case/defect management system (e.g., Jira and Xray).
  • Experience testing in an Agile development environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem determination skills.
  • Hands-on experience preparing Test Plans and Test Cases based on product requirements.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium/Gauge/Maven with Java.
  • Experience with SOAPUI or ReadyAPI in a Swagger environment.
  • Experience with git source control.
  • Experience testing Web Services, API endpoints, and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Proficient in creating Automation Scripts (i.e., Java [Selenium, Gauge], Dos, Bash, Python).
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and querying SQL databases.

Nice-to-haves

  • A SAFe certification or willingness to complete certification on hire.
  • Experience with Jira, Xray, Confluence, and Miro.
  • Experience testing products developed within the Pega framework.
  • Experience testing Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act design compliance.
