About the position

The QA Certification Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring that aviation systems meet FAA certification standards. This position involves creating and managing documentation for both hardware and software products, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO9001, AS9100, DO-254, and DO-178C. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop certification documentation for aviation systems
• Conduct compliance audits to ensure adherence to FAA standards
• Perform hands-on certification tasks related to hardware and software
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met
• Participate in auditing processes to maintain compliance with industry regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Experience in Software Quality Assurance (DO-178C)
• Experience in Hardware Quality Assurance (DO-254)
• Familiarity with environmental qualification (DO-160G) preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ISO9001 and AS9100 standards
• Background in software development, particularly in C/C++
