About the position

The QA DevOps position at Zenith Services focuses on automating and optimizing the software development process, ensuring efficient build and release cycles. The role involves collaboration with software developers and QA specialists to deliver high-quality software releases while implementing continuous integration and deployment strategies across cloud services like AWS and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Automate, optimize, and drive efficiency of code and processes.
• Monitor the automated build and continuous integration process to ensure efficient builds.
• Facilitate resolution of build/release failures.
• Perform test plan creation and test framework integration.
• Conduct acceptance testing, automated tests, and function testing.
• Introduce and oversee software development automation across cloud services.
• Collaborate with software developers, QA specialists, and other DevOps team members for timely software releases.
• Help develop, manage, and monitor CI/CD pipelines.
• Create, maintain, and share technical documentation for engineers and team members.
• Collaborate with development teams to architect, configure, monitor, and support services.
• Work with developers to understand implementations and assess areas of risk.
• Perform end-to-end testing for products, including hardware test setups.
• Define the best test automation strategies with stakeholders.
• Provide automation status reports to Agile teams and the QA Manager.
• Review the work of other automation testers and recommend changes.
• Monitor and strategize mobile platform support.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• 8+ years of manual testing experience using tools like Postman and Swagger.
• 3+ years of experience with Bamboo, Git, Jenkins, etc.
• 3+ years of API/Web services automation experience.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work well independently or in a team.
• Experience in build automation test suite using Rest Assured.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and cloud infrastructure, PCF.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard DevOps tools (CI/CD, Git, Bamboo, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with micro-service architectures and decoupled systems.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Prior experience in Java programming is a plus.
• Familiarity with general monitoring principles using Splunk.
• Ability to communicate effectively with developers and QA engineers.
• Experience writing technical documentation for a technical audience.
• Strong commitment to customer service and service enablement.
