QA Engineer 1 (Intern)

About the position

We are looking for a motivated summer intern to join our software quality assurance team within the Inspection Business Unit (IBU).

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing software releases for our inspection systems.
• Design test cases, execute test plans, set up and configure hardware tools for testing, log defects, and document procedures.
• Collaborate with other test engineers, software engineers, technical writers, and lab technicians.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Math, or a related field.
• Previous technical employment experience preferred.
• Detail oriented with strong problem-solving/troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and stay updated with the latest research and industry practices.
