About the position

This position is part of the Airframe SQM team at Lockheed Martin, focusing on supplier quality management (SQM) integration across various programs and technology domains. The role involves quality engineering responsibilities, including data analysis, root cause corrective actions, and improvement strategies to enhance overall quality performance while minimizing defects and costs. The SQE will collaborate with multiple functions and leaders to achieve quality objectives and will require some travel within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Integrate supplier teams and manage quality engineering functions within the SQM integration teams.
• Analyze quality and cost data to identify areas for improvement.
• Initiate and implement corrective and preventive actions based on root cause analysis.
• Manage variation and improvement strategies to enhance quality performance.
• Collaborate with various functions and leaders to achieve quality objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
