About the position

This position is part of the Airframe SQM team at Lockheed Martin, focusing on supplier quality management (SQM) integration across various programs and technology domains. The role involves quality engineering responsibilities, including data analysis, root cause corrective actions, and improvement strategies to enhance overall quality performance while minimizing defects and costs. The SQE will collaborate with multiple functions and leaders to achieve quality objectives and will require some travel within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Function as a Quality Engineer within the SQM integration teams across multiple programs and technology domains.
• Conduct quality and cost data analysis to identify areas for improvement.
• Initiate root cause corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
• Manage variation and supplier quality integration tasks.
• Develop and implement area improvement strategies and planning to enhance quality performance.
• Collaborate with various functions and leaders to achieve quality objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office tools.
