About the position

The Sr QA Engineer Automated 3 position at Mando Technologies involves ensuring the quality of software products through automated testing processes. The role requires a strong background in writing and executing test cases, as well as experience with various testing methodologies and tools. The candidate will work closely with agile teams to deliver high-quality software releases on time, focusing on both functional and non-functional testing aspects.

Responsibilities

• Write and execute test cases and create test plans.
• Conduct software usability assessments and ensure requirements traceability throughout the SDLC process.
• Write complex SQL queries for CURD operations and perform data migration testing.
• Implement QA automation testing and scripting using UFT (Unified Functional Testing).
• Utilize Xray Test Case management tool for tracking test cases.
• Collaborate with scrum teams in an agile environment to deliver software releases using Jira and SharePoint.
• Track and manage defects using industry-standard tools like Jira, ensuring organized records of issues.
• Perform API Testing using tools such as Postman and SOAPUI.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines to enhance testing processes in software development.
• Conduct various types of testing including unit, integration, regression, smoke, user acceptance, system, and data migration testing.
• Analyze code coverage and assist in process or systems analysis and design work.
• Organize and present complex technical information effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Work independently and collaboratively with sprint development team members under tight deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with staff and end users to build positive working relationships.
• Respond to inquiries regarding errors or problems with programs and manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Accurately track time spent on projects and estimate changes or enhancements.

Requirements

• 8 years of experience in writing and executing test cases and creating test plans.
• 8 years of knowledge of software usability concepts and requirements traceability, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process.
• 8 years of strong knowledge of SQL query writing for CURD operations and experience in data migration testing.
• 8 years of experience in writing and executing test automation using UFT (Unified Functional Testing).
• 8 years of knowledge of Xray Test Case management tool and Jira project management tool.
• 8 years of experience in conducting API Testing and automation using Postman, SOAPUI, JMETER or similar.

Nice-to-haves

• 3 years of knowledge of load/performance testing.
• 3 years of knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming.
