About the position

The QA Engineer I position is responsible for developing and implementing methods and procedures for process control, improvement, testing, and inspection to ensure product quality. This role involves designing and installing testing equipment, performing product testing and analysis, and collaborating with suppliers to address quality issues and enhance supplier quality programs.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes quality standards for products and processes and suggests modifications to prevent defects.
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate quality risks.
  • Audits production processes, raw materials, or suppliers/vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Conducts root cause analysis for defects, non-conformities, or other quality failures.
  • Ensures compliance with formal external quality standards, such as ISO 9001.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Quality Engineering or related Engineering field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in quality assurance or related field.
  • Technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quality Engineering or related field.
