About the position

The QA Engineer II at ICE Mortgage Technology is responsible for automating tests to ensure the operability and dependencies between new and existing systems in the mortgage industry. This role involves designing, developing, and executing automated tests, as well as performing manual tests to verify code integrity within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests throughout the software development life cycle.
• Create and perform manual tests to verify the integrity of the code base.
• Author and maintain automated test cases for ICE Mortgage Technology products.
• Write and maintain manual test cases prior to automation.
• Test both API and UI components of the products.
• Write Integration and UI level tests.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex issues related to automation.
• Participate in planning bug fixes, features, and enhancements.
• Set and guide work objectives and project goals.
• Work in a flexible, agile development environment with rapid release cycles.

Requirements

• Computer Science Degree or equivalent from a fully-accredited college or university desired.
• 3+ years' experience in Quality Assurance Automation.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal direction.
• Passionate about QA and writing code.
• Good working knowledge of modern QA principles and methodologies.
• Skilled in Java or JavaScript programming languages.
• Experience with MySQL or MongoDB database languages.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Codecept/Puppeteer, TestNG, Postman/Newman, Selenium.
