About the position

The QA Engineer Intern position at TikTok focuses on privacy and security features within the TikTok application. The intern will work closely with Frontend, Backend, and client teams to contribute to the development of quality infrastructure for new feature products. This internship aims to provide students with hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, fostering personal and professional growth while working on innovative projects.

Responsibilities

• Work with Frontend, Backend, and client teams on privacy and security new feature products.
• Contribute to building quality infrastructure for privacy and security feature products.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Familiar with Java/Python/Objective-C/Golang, with experience in related project development.
• Fluent in Python.
• Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
• Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2025.

Nice-to-haves

• Graduating December 2025 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship.
• Good understanding of RPC/REST API web services.
• Good understanding of software development cycle, and software quality and testing.
• Fluent in Python.
• Experienced in automation testing framework.
