About the position

As a Senior Quality Engineer at Deluxe, you will be a key advocate for quality and customer satisfaction, ensuring that the products meet high standards of excellence. You will leverage your expertise in Agile methodologies to optimize processes and drive efficiency, while also engaging in both manual exploratory and automated testing. Your role will involve designing and executing comprehensive test plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and utilizing your technical skills to enhance product quality.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for quality and customer satisfaction in product development.
• Design, manage, and execute risk-based test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual exploratory and automated testing of applications.
• Utilize data-driven test frameworks for UI test automation using tools like Selenium.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to optimize processes and drive efficiency.
• Engage in source code management and code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 3 years of experience, or High school/GED with 7 years of experience in Quality Engineering roles.
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Proficiency in object-oriented coding languages, particularly Java.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years in progressive Quality Engineering roles, preferably in the Financial Services industry.
