About the position

This startup located in the greater Boston area is hiring for a QA engineer. They are leaders in the security industry, working with innovative technology that detects mail born threats. This is a full-time, hybrid position (must go onsite as needed). As a QA engineer, you will be working alongside other developers to help build their security products and companion software. You will be conducting tests on new releases, troubleshooting bugs, and developing company-wide QA processes. The ideal candidate has experience testing software, both manual and automation, as well as hardware testing components.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests on new releases of software and hardware components.
• Troubleshoot bugs and issues found during testing.
• Develop and implement company-wide QA processes.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure quality in security products and companion software.

Requirements

• Manual and Automation software testing experience.
• Hardware testing experience.
• UI automation experience (JavaScript and Playwright preferred, Java/Selenium acceptable).
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks.
• Experience with bug tracking tools like Jira.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in IT related field.
• Cloud experience.
