About the position

The Senior Quality Engineer at International Motors will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of manufacturing processes at the San Antonio facility. This position involves leading problem-solving initiatives, monitoring production processes, and analyzing data to enhance quality standards. The role supports the production schedule and may require flexibility to cover additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Foster and lead practical problem-solving activities.
• Monitor campaign process and progress.
• Manage compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality, and regulatory standards requirements.
• Perform analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary.
• Develop and maintain APQP documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of Engineering and Quality Assurance experience, or a Master's degree, or at least 4 years of Engineering and Quality Assurance experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
• Ability to interpret GDT and blueprints.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency with quality tools such as 8D, SPC, and statistical analysis.
• Strong communication skills across organizations and levels.
• Ability to handle and manage competing priorities.
• Ability to drive and meet deadlines.
