About the position

As a QA Engineer for the Tools & SDK team working on the Apple Vision Pro, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of new features on visionOS and various developer tools. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong technical and communication skills, as you will be responsible for functional testing, design and implementation of test plans and test cases, and conducting risk analysis. You will prioritize and escalate critical bugs while performing integration testing across Apple platforms. Your work will directly contribute to the development of a revolutionary spatial computer that seamlessly blends digital content with physical space, enhancing user experiences in unprecedented ways. In this role, you will set high standards within your areas of expertise and collaborate frequently with team members across different functions to ensure the delivery of superb end-to-end experiences. As a cross-functional advocate for quality, you will work closely with development and automation engineers, developing comprehensive test plans, conducting user studies, triaging bugs, and supporting design reviews. Your keen attention to detail and resourcefulness will be essential in troubleshooting and providing detailed debug information for defects, ensuring speedy resolutions and maintaining the integrity of the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies and tools, with at least 5 years of experience in crafting, maintaining, and executing test plans. You will need to be adaptable in a dynamic environment, capable of balancing multiple efforts simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines. Your ability to make sound judgment calls regarding issue resolution will be critical in this fast-paced setting, where innovation and quality are paramount.

Responsibilities

  • Easily adaptable in a dynamic and demanding environment.
