About the position

The Quality Assurance Engineer at Qlik plays a crucial role in enhancing software quality and efficiency. The QA Engineer will also maintain and expand the test automation framework, report issues, and implement continuous process improvements based on key metrics. Responsibilities

  • Work with the product team to refine requirements.
  • Define test plans for execution by the QA team.
  • Create automated tests.
  • Maintain and expand the test automation framework.
  • Report issues and perform analysis to find root causes.
  • Communicate project testing status with the team.
  • Review QA practices and implement continuous process improvements based on key metrics.
  • Review the QA roadmap and prioritize projects.
  • Implement QA best practices with other QA engineers.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of professional QA or Software Engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of web applications, databases, and web APIs.
  • Proficiency with SQL and at least one scripting language (Python preferred).
  • Experience writing automated tests.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Linux experience is preferred.
