About the position

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the Software Engineering department, focusing on the development of a greenfield application within a highly regulated GCP environment. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of manual testing methodologies in cloud settings.

Responsibilities

• Generate test cases from functional/business requirements and discussions with the team regarding software behaviors.
• Partner with the team to ensure automated testing (Junit/Pytest) provides sufficient coverage for both positive and negative test cases.
• Add tests to various code repositories using Java/Python/Git.
• Design, develop, implement, and support applications, systems, and IT products to achieve the company's business objectives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrates knowledge of software development, life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, and business/functional documents.
• Working knowledge of three or more technologies preferred.
• Proven leadership ability preferred.
