About the position

The QA Engineer at Ikon IT Solutions, Inc. is responsible for ensuring the quality of software applications through various testing methodologies. This role involves analyzing business requirements, developing test plans and strategies, executing test cases, and automating testing processes for web-based applications. The QA Engineer will also perform both manual and automated testing, identify defects, and work towards their resolution.

Responsibilities

• Involved in the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Analyze business requirements and functional specifications.
• Prepare test plans and strategy reports.
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases.
• Develop automation framework to test web-based applications.
• Write test scripts for regression testing.
• Perform manual and automated testing and fix defects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering (any).
• 6 months of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Proficiency in Java, Jenkins, Eclipse, Maven, Postman, Selenium, Cucumber, SQL Developer, ALM, and Jira.
