About the position

The QA Engineer position is focused on ensuring the quality of software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. The role requires a strong background in SQL and quality assurance methodologies, with an emphasis on both web services and batch processing. The engineer will work in a dynamic environment, utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies, particularly Kanban, to manage testing workflows effectively.

Responsibilities

• Write complex SQL queries to validate data and processes.
• Test web services using tools like Postman and Soap-UI.
• Conduct UI testing, focusing primarily on jobs/SQL and web services.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand and validate SQL queries written by them.
• Utilize QA methodologies, tools, and processes to ensure software quality.
• Adapt to a fluid work environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance and software testing.
• Strong ability to write complex SQL queries.
• Experience with batch processing and microservices.
• Solid understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall SDLC, especially Kanban.
• Experience testing web services using Postman and Soap-UI.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of C# is a huge plus.
• Salesforce experience is a plus.
