About the position

The QA Engineer position at Insight Global involves working closely with project and program managers to develop and implement quality control and assurance processes. The role focuses on continuous improvement to ensure customer satisfaction, conducting quality audits, and developing corrective action plans. The QA Engineer will also be responsible for executing quality control plans and verifying the quality of new and modified products. This position is remote but candidates must reside in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control and assurance processes.
• Conduct quality audits and develop corrective action plans.
• Follow up to assess the impact of process/procedural changes.
• Develop and execute quality control plans including verification/qualification procedures of new and modified products.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in QA with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience reviewing specifications and design documents, processing software, designing tests, and coordinating testing activities.
• Experience with bug and issue tracking using Jira.
• Experience designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
• Extensive experience documenting software defects using a bug tracking system.
• Ability to communicate effectively between business and cross-functional teams regarding bugs and issues.
