About the position

The QA Engineer will be responsible for leading quality assurance efforts, focusing on manual testing frameworks and supporting test-driven development to achieve continuous testing objectives. This role emphasizes quality delivery, efficiency, and cost reduction while maintaining testing policies and standards across products. The position requires strong leadership and interpersonal skills to advocate for quality assurance processes within a Scrum culture, collaborating with key stakeholders across various teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, enhance, and test application frameworks of moderate to high complexity.
• Investigate and resolve complex data, system, and software issues in the production environment.
• Develop, implement, and maintain manual test case frameworks and tools for a hybrid environment.
• Transition manual frameworks to automation to achieve continuous testing objectives.
• Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams in Scrum to meet continuous testing goals.
• Conduct manual functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, back-end system testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Lead and define the automation execution strategy and provide visibility on progress.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in test automation, test management, and bug tracking tools and processes.
• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience, particularly in automating test cases.
• Experience with Selenium, Java, Automation, Cloud, CI/CD, Agile, API Testing, and JavaScript.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-obsessed attitude.
• Problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset and a positive attitude.
• Detail-oriented self-starter capable of working independently.
• Experience in a high throughput SaaS/PaaS environment.
• Understanding of RDBMS concepts and ability to develop SQL queries/scripts and stored procedures.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Experience with proprietary automation software tools such as Attlq.
