About the position

As a QA Engineer at Oriental Trading Company, you will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of IT-oriented business solutions. This position is responsible for conducting testing activities to ensure that all deliverables meet specifications and maintain the highest quality standards. You will develop and execute test scripts and data necessary for validating team deliverables, while also collaborating in person with colleagues in Omaha, Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans/scripts to ensure the highest level of quality is delivered.
• Design system integration, regression, and UAT testing solutions utilizing business/functional requirements.
• Ensure software development standards, policies, and documented requirements are met by generating traceability matrices and reports.
• Provide execution and defect metrics to project leadership.
• Utilize provided tool sets to efficiently test new software development.
• Develop and run automated test suites for regression testing.
• Conduct defect management and collaborate with technical and business teams to resolve issues.
• Become a subject matter expert on product features and functionality.
• Attend face-to-face meetings on short notice.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a Software/BA/QA Engineer or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience translating business/functional requirements into test requirements.
• 2+ years of experience using SQL.
• 2+ years of experience using automated testing tools such as TestComplete, Selenium, or QuickTest Pro.
• Experience with Web, Mobile, and API testing technologies and tools is preferred.
• Experience with iSeries applications is preferred.
