About the position

The QA Engineer position at Deluxe involves working closely with business leaders and developers to ensure the quality and functionality of products for financial services clients. The role includes gathering requirements, managing communication regarding product changes, testing products, and creating training documentation. This position offers an opportunity for growth within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Gather information from business leaders and communicate it to developers regarding product changes and enhancements.
  • Test all products upon completion, fix bugs if possible, or escalate to developers for resolution.
  • Schedule product releases and provide training to end users.
  • Manage the JIRA ticketing system to track work and responsibilities.
  • Create and automate QA test cases, tracking all bugs in projects and coordinating fixes with developers.
  • Develop training documentation and guides for end users, including video training.
  • Coordinate requirements for stakeholders and communicate them with developers to write new project requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 2 years of experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 6 years of experience in issue/defect tracking and change management tools such as JIRA.
  • Extensive knowledge in API/Web services-based infrastructure.
  • Experience with JAVA and Selenium.
