About the position

The QA Engineer will work closely with a Scrum team to identify system and functional requirements, perform manual and automation testing, and ensure quality assurance metrics align with organizational goals. This role requires strong communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders, as well as proficiency in testing tools and SQL queries.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Scrum team members to identify system and functional requirements.
• Perform manual testing and automation testing, including preparing detailed test plans and test cases.
• Explain testing and automation best practices to team members.
• Track QA metrics to ensure alignment with organizational QA goals.
• Utilize testing tools such as X-Ray and Selenium with Cucumber Framework.
• Execute SQL queries as part of testing processes.
• Participate in coding tests during the interview process to solve basic coding challenges.
• Communicate effectively across various teams, including technical teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in manual and automation testing.
• Ability to prepare detailed test plans and test cases.
• Knowledge of testing tools such as X-Ray and Selenium with Cucumber Framework.
• Proficiency in SQL for executing queries.
