About the position

The QA Engineer position at Analytic Partners is a crucial role within the AP Product Group, responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications. This role involves collaborating with a dynamic team to architect, implement, test, and continuously deliver new features and products. The QA Engineer will design and execute test plans, develop automation scripts, and track quality assurance metrics to meet company standards and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using test automation tools
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved.

Requirements

• Experience of working in software development teams and using software QA methodologies and tools
• Solid experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright
• Relevant experience in agile software development, scrum methodologies & tools and processes using JIRA
• Excellent multitasking and time management skills to manage stakeholders and to meet tight deadlines
• Experience with performance testing will be a bonus
• Undergraduate or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum product development and support process using JIRA.
