About the position

The QA Engineer role at Dexian involves developing and implementing automated testing solutions for web and mobile applications. The position requires a strong background in various automation tools and frameworks, as well as experience in Agile environments. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software solutions through effective testing strategies and proactive monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automated testing solutions for web and mobile applications.
• Utilize automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Appium to ensure software quality.
• Architect and implement development pipelines (CI/CD) for efficient software delivery.
• Conduct complex system integration testing to validate software functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the end-to-end customer experience.
• Monitor and observe software performance using proactive tools.
• Stay updated with new technologies and advocate for their adoption within the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a Bachelor's degree or 3+ years with a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Jenkins, and uDeploy.
• Minimum 3 years of experience architecting automation test platforms.
• Minimum 3 years of experience architecting and implementing development pipelines (CI/CD).
• Experience with web-based and API-based automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, REST Assured, and Karate.
• Strong experience in delivering software solutions in an Agile environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus.
• Knowledge of proactive monitoring and observability tools.
