The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with quality standards. This role involves supporting customers in failure analysis, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective, containment, and preventive actions. The QA Engineer will assist the customer focus team in resolving quality issues by following established quality standard practices. Additionally, the engineer will develop and implement plans for lean and Six Sigma deployment within the plant, providing progress reports and action plans for implementation. Other quality-related activities may also be required as needed. The QA Engineer will develop, evaluate, revise, and apply technical quality assurance protocols and methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products. Ensuring compliance with both company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations is a critical aspect of this role. The engineer will perform analysis and identify trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials, and bulk raw materials, recommending corrective actions when necessary. Furthermore, the QA Engineer will ensure that established manufacturing inspection, sampling, and statistical process control procedures are followed, and will assure compliance with in-house and/or external specifications and standards, such as GMPs, ISO, and AS9100 regulations. Evaluating and analyzing efforts in organizing, documenting, and interpreting inspection support documents and records will also be part of the responsibilities.
