QA Label Compliance Specialist

About the position

The Quality Assurance (QA) Label Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that SMP and customer product labels comply with regulatory standards and company policies. This role involves generating and maintaining documentation to support compliance activities, reviewing product labels, and collaborating with the Graphics Team to develop compliant labels according to FDA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review supplement fact panels against product specifications and regulatory standards, as well as SMP SOP standards.
• Collaborate with the Graphics Team to develop labels in accordance with FDA labeling guidelines.
• Review printed materials for compliance with regulatory and SMP SOP standards.
• Approve incoming labels to ensure they meet compliance requirements.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required; a college degree is preferred.
• Experience in regulatory compliance within the food or dietary supplement industry, particularly with FDA regulations.
• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and compliance activities.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
