About the position

The QA Lead/Automation Tester position is a contract role based in Pennington, New Jersey, focused on developing, maintaining, and executing test automation frameworks primarily using Core Java and Selenium. The role involves leading the automation efforts within the Quality Assurance team, ensuring the delivery of a robust QA strategy, and supporting technical tasks related to middleware and UI testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute the test automation framework in Core Java.
• Be part of the overall Quality Assurance and Test Automation team, delivering and executing QA strategy.
• Lead the build-out of end-to-end test automation framework in partnership with application development.
• Support technical tasks involved in the creation of test automation frameworks for Middleware & UI using Java & Selenium.

Requirements

• 6 - 7 years hands-on Core Java/Selenium development experience.
• Technical proficiency in Core Java automation development in various frameworks such as TestNG & Cucumber BDD.
• Hands-on experience using Selenium Webdriver.
• Proficiency in coding with Java.
• Experience in automating middleware protocols like SOAP/REST/XML/JSON using Rest-Assured/Http-Clients.
• 3 years of experience with source code versioning tools like Bitbucket/GitHub.
• Technical proficiency with CI/CD automation implementation.
• Experience in Agile Testing Model and API testing.
