About the position

As a QA Manager at Deloitte, you will lead and manage quality assurance processes and teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technology solutions. This role emphasizes collaboration, project management, and the ability to drive operational improvements while working closely with clients and internal teams. You will be responsible for overseeing testing activities, managing risks, and communicating progress to project leadership, all within a remote work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for reporting progress, planning, resource staffing, hiring, addressing performance concerns, ensuring processes are being followed.
  • Manages the day-to-day activities of the team.
  • Manage testing risks and issues, develop contingency plans, escalate to leadership as appropriate for Deloitte's scope of work.
  • Review progress and provide status to project leadership for scope of work.
  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and/or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.
  • Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of QA experience (End-to-End, UAT, SIT, Performance Testing, Release Management).
  • 7+ years of project management experience.
  • Previous experience in the Healthcare industry is required.
  • Ability to lead and manage resources across different testing disciplines.

  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations.
