About the position

The QA Manual Tester will be responsible for conducting detailed manual testing of governance, risk, and compliance applications to ensure they meet regulatory and business requirements. This role involves writing and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional requirements, with a focus on delivering high-quality products through rigorous testing. While primarily a manual testing role, there is an opportunity to utilize automation tools like Selenium with Java for critical test cases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed manual testing of governance, risk, and compliance applications.
• Write and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional requirements.
• Utilize Selenium with Java to automate test scripts for repetitive and critical test cases.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results, providing detailed defect reports.
• Identify, report, and track defects using JIRA.
• Work with development and business teams to resolve issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Manual QA Tester.
• Strong experience in testing web-based applications, preferably in governance, risk, or compliance environments.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium for test automation, with proficiency in Java for writing test scripts.
• Experience using JIRA for defect tracking and Confluence for documentation.
• Knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC), particularly Agile/Scrum methodologies.
