About the position
The QA-Mobile Automation/Mobile SDET role is focused on ensuring the quality of native mobile applications through effective testing strategies and automation frameworks. The position requires expertise in mobile testing techniques, the ability to build and maintain automation frameworks, and proficiency in performance testing. The role also involves coordinating with both onsite and offshore QA teams to ensure project standards are met and that the QA strategy is upheld throughout the development process.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain mobile test automation frameworks using iOS and Android toolsets.
- Conduct mobile performance testing and ensure adherence to testing principles.
- Create automation scripts from scratch for mobile applications.
- Coordinate with offshore QA teams and track execution status with onsite teams.
- Split technical tasks among team members and execute according to the project plan.
- Review peers' tasks regularly to ensure they meet project standards.
- Utilize CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery.
- Use analytics tools like Dynatrace and Splunk for performance monitoring.
- Employ tools like Charles Proxy and Fiddler for network traffic analysis.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of mobile testing techniques and challenges.
- Expertise in XCTest and XCUITest for iOS, and Espresso, UI Automator, Robolectric, and Jetpack Compose for Android.
- Strong experience in creating automation scripts from scratch.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools, particularly Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
- Good experience with Jira and Confluence tools.
- Strong knowledge of Gradle and MindMap usage.
- Expertise in Test Heuristics and SFDIPOT.
