About the position

The QA Performance Tester will be responsible for both manual and automated testing of software applications developed for the NCCRIS project at NCDIT-Transportation. This role involves collaboration with application development teams to ensure the quality and performance of software releases and upgrades through various testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide software manual and automation testing for new releases and upgrades to applications.
• Collaborate with application development teams on testing activities.
• Conduct Unit Testing, System Testing, Component Integration, System Integration, Regression, Performance, and Disaster Recovery Testing.
• Design Test Plans and execute test cases/scenarios.
• Develop testing documentation and results reports for applications tested.
• Manage defect reporting and resolution.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience with VB scripting to create/modify code for test cases.
• 5 years of experience identifying and resolving automation issues and challenges.
• 5 years of experience with Automated Testing products such as Tricentis Tosca, Cypress, or Selenium, Jira, OpenText ALM, and UFT.
• 5 years of experience performing software testing with OpenText ALM and UFT.
• 5 years of experience executing test cases and test scripts.
• 5 years of experience with defect management and reporting.
• 5 years of experience reviewing requirements documentation and developing test case coverage for system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• 5 years of experience designing Test Plans and developing testing documentation and results reports.
• Graduation from a 4-year college or university with a degree in Computer Science or a related Information Technology concentration.
