About the position

The QA Performance Tester role involves both manual and automated testing of software applications, focusing on new releases and upgrades. The position requires collaboration with application development teams to conduct various testing activities, including unit testing, system testing, regression testing, performance testing, and disaster recovery testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual and automated testing of software applications.
• Collaborate with application development teams for testing activities.
• Perform unit testing, system testing, and component integration testing.
• Execute regression and performance testing.
• Manage defect reporting and resolution processes.
• Review requirements documentation and develop test case coverage.
• Design test plans and execute test cases/scenarios.
• Develop testing documentation and results reports.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience with VB scripting for test case creation/modification.
• 5 years of experience identifying and resolving automation issues.
• 5 years of experience with automated testing products like Tricentis Tosca, Cypress, Selenium, Jira, OpenText ALM, and UFT.
• 5 years of experience performing software testing with OpenText ALM and UFT.
• 5 years of experience executing test cases and test scripts.
• 5 years of experience in defect management and reporting.
• 5 years of experience reviewing requirements documentation and developing test case coverage.
• 4 years of education in Computer Science or related IT field.
