About the position
Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking a QA professional specializing in Point of Sale (POS) Testing to join their team in a permanent role. This position focuses on ensuring the quality and functionality of POS systems, particularly Oracle Xstore, within an agile framework. The role involves test creation, execution, and defect logging, contributing to the overall quality assurance process for various clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Point of Sale testing with a focus on Oracle Xstore.
- Perform downstream testing through to mainframe systems.
- Validate logs and bank logs as part of the testing process.
- Utilize JIRA and Zephyr for defect logging and test management.
- Work as an individual contributor while demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Point of Sale testing.
- Familiarity with Oracle Xstore and agile frameworks, particularly SAFE.
- Experience in test creation, execution, and defect logging.
- Proficiency in using JIRA and Zephyr for test management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with test automation tools.
- Knowledge of cloud platform assurance and robotic test automation.
