About the position

The QA POS Automation Engineer will be responsible for testing eCommerce services, focusing on both manual and automation testing using Selenium. This role involves designing test cases, executing tests, managing defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of software products in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Testing eCommerce services
• Manual testing & Automation Testing with Selenium, including test planning and daily/weekly report preparations
• Manually test and diagnose various end-to-end features
• Running manual tests, updating and authoring manual test cases
• Diagnosing failed tests and writing code to automate test cases
• Test Case Designing
• Execution and result publish on daily build basis
• Defect management
• Execute test cases on assigned feature areas as defined by the hybrid feature teams
• Issue reporting, bug filing and regression identification
• Execution, Result Analysis and Reporting
• Conducting end to end Sanity, Regression and Smoke testing
• Execute automation scripts and run tests manually
• Maintenance of test results and artifacts for future reference

Requirements

• Must have experience in QA Automation with an Enterprise company
• 5+ years of professional Software QA, with focus on e-commerce or Retail, Point of Sale (POS) testing
• Selenium Automation and API experience is mandatory
• Strong experience developing and implementing test plans & test cases
• Strong experience performing manual testing
• Strong experience implementing QA process and methodologies
• Retail or Online Store background
• Good team and people skills
• Excellent oral/written communication skills
• Able to host status meetings and ad hoc working sessions
• Able to work independently under pressure and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
• Able to work with cross-functional teams to build and deliver a project
• Able to collaborate with business partners, developers, and various support teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects and issues
• Able to coordinate end to end validation with various backend systems and vendors
• Must be comfortable leading and doing manual and automation work
• Communication skills a must
• Must have hands-on automation experience with Selenium and API
