About the position

The QA Product Development Manager at QVC is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes related to product development for Home DDGS products. This role involves collaborating with product development teams and vendors to establish technical product specifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory and design requirements, and validating products throughout the development phase. The manager will also lead a quality assurance team and support the internal quality management processes to ensure product safety and performance standards are met before shipment.

Responsibilities

• Validate product design and engineering through sample evaluations and documentation reviews.
• Ensure maintenance of product technical files and safety certifications.
• Develop technical product specifications in collaboration with product development teams.
• Assess product samples against regulatory, design, and performance standards.
• Issue final product approvals for the US market and provide necessary documentation to the China Process Audit team.
• Lead and support the Quality Product Design Specialist and product development teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Quality or Product Engineering, with at least 2 years managing a quality assurance team.
• College degree in Product Design, Engineering, or Science.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar retailer quality management role or product assessment background, particularly with consumer electrical products.
• Experience working in a cross-departmental environment is preferred.
