About the position

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications across various systems. This role requires a strong understanding of both manual and automated testing methodologies to identify defects and drive continuous improvement in software quality. The QA/QC Analyst will play a crucial role in the software development lifecycle, ensuring that all applications meet the highest standards of quality before they are released to users. In this position, the QA/QC Analyst will conduct comprehensive software testing and quality assurance across multiple systems including AIM, PIDS/RSBI, RPM/CMNT, TPS/LOS, and Documentum. The analyst will develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing. Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects to resolution is essential, ensuring that software meets established quality standards before release. The role also involves collaborating closely with development teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software products. Additionally, the QA/QC Analyst will perform regression testing to validate fixes and changes made to the software. Participation in the review and analysis of software requirements to ensure testability is also a key responsibility. The analyst will continuously monitor and enhance the QA processes, suggesting and implementing improvements where necessary. Generating detailed reports on testing activities, defects, and overall software quality for review by management and stakeholders is also part of the job.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance across various systems.
  • Familiarity with multiple systems such as AIM, PIDS/RSBI, RPM/CMNT, TPS/LOS, and Documentum.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify defects and improve software quality.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to work across different application groups.
