About the position

The QA/QC Coordinator role at Koch Specialty Plant Services involves providing field quality assurance and quality control support for turnaround projects during the fall season of 2024. This position is crucial for ensuring that projects meet safety and quality standards, particularly in industries such as refining, petrochemical, chemical, and power generation.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control functions on KSPS projects, including the development and execution of field inspection plans
• Conduct material receiving and inspection
• Oversee third party non-destructive examination (NDE)
• Monitor and inspect field welds for conformance with codes
• Interact with KSPS engineering, clients, and third-party authorized inspectors

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience with pressure vessel modifications
• Familiarity with ASME codes
• Proficiency with MS Office software
• Familiarity with non-destructive examination and welding methods

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with flange inspection and assembly
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Certified Welding Inspector certificate or API 510 Certification
