About the position

The QA Software Analyst position at INTRALOT involves ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through rigorous testing and collaboration with various stakeholders. The role requires a strong background in software testing, particularly within technical development environments, and emphasizes the importance of analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders on software projects.
  • Execute in-depth software testing, track issues, and determine if system requirements have been met.
  • Document test cases, test results, and release notes.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing and provide assistance as needed.
  • Provide on-call production support for software releases and hot fixes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience testing within a technical development environment on complex business applications.
  • Experience with UNIX and Shell scripting.
  • Ability to use SQL Developer or equivalent SQL Query tool.
  • Familiarity with Jira or other bug reporting systems.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member.
  • Ability to take initiative and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Automation testing with Selenium will be considered a plus.
