QA Supervisor - Flavoring

As a QA Supervisor at our flavoring company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. This position is based in our state-of-the-art facility in San Clemente, CA, where we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and innovation. You will be responsible for leading a team of six technicians in the quality department, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your leadership will be vital in guiding the team through various quality assurance processes, including the development and implementation of HACCP and SOP programs, as well as maintaining BRC compliance. In this working supervisor role, you will not only manage the day-to-day activities of the QA team but also engage in hands-on quality assurance tasks. This includes preparing quality reports, verifying that flavors meet established standards, and communicating any non-conforming products. You will also assist in complaint investigations and perform GMP inspections, coordinating corrective actions as necessary. Your proactive approach will be essential in identifying opportunities to enhance the QA department and improve overall product quality.
