About the position

The QA Test Analyst position at MSys Inc. is a long-term role focused on supporting the Treasury within the Department of Technology Management and Budget. The analyst will be responsible for managing test activities, ensuring effective communication between business representatives and the test team, and producing necessary documentation for quality assurance testing. This hybrid role requires onsite presence two days a week and involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support all test activities and manage communications with business test representatives.
  • Produce reports, presentations, and meeting minutes for quality assurance testing assignments.
  • Assist in creating scenarios to validate acceptance criteria of customer requirements.
  • Undertake system test related activities for new and updated systems.
  • Conduct functional and integration testing, liaising with third-party staff for test coverage.
  • Perform Quality Assurance checks during meetings and internal developments.
  • Attend meetings and workshops to cover test-dependent activities.
  • Prepare structured test scenarios and scripts, ensuring they are prioritized and approved by stakeholders.
  • Create and monitor test scripts, ensuring results are recorded accurately.
  • Coordinate retesting of defects and issues with business test representatives or third-party providers.
  • Maintain relevant test documentation, including test scripts and progress reports.
  • Act as a liaison for test planning, testing activity, and results analysis across business lines.
  • Support other test team members and IT resources in testing activities.

Requirements

  • Experience with SAP Financials, preferably TRM.
  • Proficiency in web-based testing and customer-facing interaction.
  • Strong skills in test planning, execution, defect tracking, and requirement analysis.
  • Familiarity with test tools such as SolMan Test Suite, HPALM, TFS, RQM, or other QA tracking tools.
  • Preferred experience in automation testing.

  • Experience in automation testing is preferred.
