About the position
The QA Testing Analyst plays a crucial role in the testing team by collaborating with Business Service Analysts and Development teams to analyze and review requirements. This position is responsible for creating and executing test scenarios, cases, and scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage of system functionalities, while adhering to industry standards and bank policies.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the review of design specifications.
- Create test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts mapped to requirements, workflow, and system design documents.
- Conduct testing using HNB manual and/or automated test processes.
- Execute test scripts and communicate and record results.
- Run database queries for data validation within test scripts.
- Update test cases based on approved change requests.
- Collaborate with BSAs and Development teams on defect analysis and triage.
- Work with colleagues and project managers to meet established target dates and deliverables.
- Provide input for weekly status reports to the Project Test Lead.
- Collaborate on the creation and review of the Test Strategy with the Project Test Lead.
- Estimate test efforts with the Project Test Lead.
- Comply with Huntington's SDLC standards and adhere to testing strategies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1+ year of QA Experience
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of test data requirements and planning for complex test scenarios
- Experience with test management tools (Quality Center), automation, and defect tracking
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Previous analytical experience in problem and result analysis
